Val’Quirico is a medieval-style locality, an artificial cozy town located in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. The town is designed as a residential and tourist complex with architecture inspired by the charm of the European countryside.

Val’Quirico is inspired by San Quirico d’Orcia, a town in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Val’Quirico was built on the remains of the former Santa Águeda hacienda, which dates back to the Porfiriato era, located in the municipality of Nativitas, Tlaxcala. The hacienda was originally dedicated to dairy cattle farming and agriculture.

After its peak in the late 19th century, the hacienda was converted into a private club, which was unsuccessful. Later, it was transformed into an artificial town resembling the Tuscany region of Italy. Adolfo Blanca Núñez is one of the co-founders of the project.

The buildings in Val’Quirico were constructed using stone, adobe, wood, and brick, typical materials of Italian architecture. The idea for Val’Quirico came about when the project’s shareholders were traveling through the Italian countryside.

Val’Quirico opened to the public in 2014.
